Security Incident Report
For any incident related to CommScope CAs, please contact email@example.com with the subject line Certificate Problem Report.
For security incidents involving a key compromise, please include both of the following two attachments with the emailed report:
1) The X.509 certificate previously issued by CommScope that you would like revoked. Please attach certificate in the following format: •PEM-encoded file with a .pem extension. The first line in this file must be: -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- and the last line must be: -----END CERTIFICATE----- 2) In addition to the certificate file also include one of the following: •A PEM-encoded certificate signing request (CSR) file signed with the private key corresponding to the to-be-revoked certificate. The first line in this file must be: -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE REQUEST----- and the last line must be: -----END CERTIFICATE REQUEST----- The CommonName attribute of the subject of the CSR must be “Proof of Key Compromise for CommScope” (not including the quotes). • Or attach the clear private key matching the to-be-revoked certificate as a PEM-encoded PKCS\#8 PrivateKeyInfo object with a .key extension. The first line in this file must be: -----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY----- and the last line must be: -----END PRIVATE KEY-----
If you submit a revocation request that does not contain the above information, a response and corresponding revocation may be delayed.
